Police: Car Rolls 4 Times After Hitting Steel Construction Plate

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.– A driver was transported to a nearby hospital when her car rolled over four times Tuesday after striking a steel construction plate that was sticking out on a road in Goose Creek, according to the Goose Creek Police Dept.

The accident happened along the area of St. James Avenue and Devon Forest in Goose Creek at 9:40 a.m.

Police say the accident occurred after the driver struck the plate, which was sticking out about six inches above the hole, causing the vehicle to go airborne and flip four times before coming to a rest.
